What if my provider is late or misses an appointment?

Here's what to do if we're not running on schedule.

Updated over 3 weeks ago

At DreamCloud, we do our best to run on time for all appointments. However, like many hospitals and medical practices, we use a triage system to prioritize urgent cases, which can sometimes lead to delays or unexpected rescheduling.

If your provider is running late or is unable to attend your appointment, we’ll do our best to notify you as early as possible. There is no fee or penalty if we need to reschedule or cancel an appointment on our end.

Appointments may occasionally be cancelled with short notice depending on the situation. Since DreamCloud is a small practice, there may not always be another provider immediately available to continue your care or prescribe medication.

In the meantime, one of our caring staff members—such as a medical assistant—will be available to assist with any immediate needs or concerns until your provider is able to reconnect with you. We appreciate your understanding and will always work to minimize any disruptions in your care.
