Do you prescribe buprenorphine (Suboxone)?

We prescribe buprenorphine (Suboxone) for opioid use disorder and dependency.

Updated over 2 weeks ago

Yes, we prescribe buprenorphine (Suboxone) as part of medication-assisted treatment (MAT) for opioid use disorder and dependency. However, we do not prescribe buprenorphine for pain management.

Eligibility & Treatment Guidelines

  • Patients must be in an active state of withdrawal to begin Suboxone treatment, or they must already be prescribed and currently taking Suboxone to receive a new prescription.

  • No automatic refills – patients are required to schedule a visit each month to receive a new prescription.

  • Labwork Requirements – Blood tests and urine drug screenings may be required before and during treatment. However, if you are unable to provide blood or urine samples, it does not automatically disqualify you from care. Please discuss any concerns with your provider.

If you are seeking treatment for opioid use disorder, schedule a visit to discuss whether buprenorphine (Suboxone) is the right option for you.
