Yes, we prescribe certain controlled medications when they are medically necessary, clinically appropriate, and prescribed under strict oversight.
These medications are regulated by the DEA due to their potential for misuse, dependence, and diversion. When prescribed responsibly and taken as directed, they can be safe and therapeutic for many patients.
We follow a rigorous protocol to ensure patient safety and legal compliance. We routinely review medication histories and pharmacy records to monitor for safe use. Any patient suspected of misuse, diversion, or non-compliance may be subject to immediate termination of treatment, and in such cases, continuation of care at DreamCloud may not be permitted.
Important Information About Controlled Medications:
We do not prescribe medications for pain, ketamine, esketamine, experimental drugs, or medical cannabis/marijuana.
Buprenorphine maintenance is available for patients with opioid dependence who meet clinical criteria. We do not provide medical detox or IV-administered medication.
Due to a nationwide shortage of many ADHD medications, alternatives may be prescribed if your preferred medication is unavailable.
If you have questions about specific medications or your treatment plan, please speak with your provider to discuss the safest and most effective options for your care.
